Years of golf travel — Bandon Dunes, Scottsdale, Scotland, and everywhere in between — taught me one thing: every great trip has someone behind it who knows where to go. A great course plays even better when someone tells you where to miss. A great city reveals itself when someone shows you where to look.

That's what I do. Just show up — everything else is handled.

Round's done, clubs are loaded — and just when you thought the day was over, the car makes one more stop. A San Diego craft brewery nobody outside the city knows about. Flip flops on, award-winning IPA in hand, a bite to eat. The perfect ending you didn't see coming.

You've earned it. A reservation at one of San Diego's most coveted omakase sushi experiences — nearly impossible to get, and somehow you're sitting down tonight.
