San Diego · Corporate Days

A day your team is still talking about back at the office.

Client entertainment, leadership offsites, recognition trips, and sales incentive days — built around your group, run by one person who handles every detail. Nobody on your team has to plan it. Nobody has to manage it on-site. You just show up.

You've got enough on your plate

One point of contact.
Everything handled.

Corporate outings usually fail for the same reason: someone on your team ends up planning it on top of their actual job, then troubleshooting it in real time when something falls through. Local Knowledge takes the entire thing off your plate — tee times, reservations, transportation, timing, and a parallel day for anyone who doesn't golf. One person plans it and shows up to run it. You get to be a guest at your own event.

The mission behind all of it: a best day ever, for every guest, every time.

Your occasion

Different reasons to book.
Same standard every time.

🤝

Client Entertainment

A day built to close relationships, not just a deal — a round on the right course and a dinner reservation your client couldn't get on their own. The kind of day that gets mentioned in the next call.

🧭

Leadership Retreats

Get the team out of the boardroom and somewhere loose enough to actually talk, structured enough to stay productive. Golf in the morning, a real conversation over dinner, San Diego doing the rest of the work.

🏆

Employee Recognition

Reward the people who earned it with a day, not another gift card. Personally hosted, built around what they'd actually want, and worth bringing up at the next all-hands.

🎯

Sales Incentive Trips

President's Club, without the cruise ship. A day — or several — that top performers are actually motivated to win, built around golf, dining, and the San Diego most visitors never reach.

✈️

Conference Add-On Days

In town for a conference and want to give clients or execs a real day before they fly out? One call, and it's handled — no research, no guessing which restaurant is actually good.

🌉

Something Else Entirely

Company anniversary, board retreat, investor day, a founder's milestone birthday with the whole team along — if it's a group and it's in San Diego, tell us what it actually is and we'll build around it.

How it works

Built the way a corporate offsite should run.

Whoever's organizing this shouldn't have to become a full-time event planner to make it happen. This is the part that gets handled so you don't have to think about it again until the day itself.

One point of contact, start to finish
A single person plans the day and shows up to run it — no vendor coordination on your end.
Tee times and reservations secured in advance
The right course, the right restaurant, the right stop along the way — timed around your schedule, not whatever's available.
Real spots, not tourist traps
Every stop is chosen for what makes sense for your group — not a generic list handed to every visitor.
Transportation handled door to door
Pickup, timing between stops, and getting everyone back — nothing for your team to coordinate.
Scales from a foursome to the full team
Small groups are personally hosted start to finish. Larger groups run with a trusted co-host alongside — same standard, same single point of contact for planning.
Who this is built for

Corporate and sales teams — client entertainment, leadership retreats, recognition trips. We handle the logistics. You experience the day.

Before you book

Questions procurement always asks.

What's actually included?

Transportation, course selection and tee times, dining reservations, and a personal host running the day start to finish. Beyond that, it's your call — tell us what you want covered and what you'd rather handle yourselves, and the quote reflects exactly that.

How large can the group be?

Groups of up to 8 are personally hosted start to finish. Larger groups run with a trusted co-host alongside, with the same single point of contact for planning.

Can you invoice the company directly?

Yes, company invoicing is available for corporate bookings.

What if some of our people don't golf?

They get a parallel San Diego day running at the same time, built around their interests — nobody sits at the hotel.

How far ahead should we book?

Popular courses — Torrey Pines especially — book up fast, and tee time windows are tighter than you'd think. The earlier you reach out, the more say you have in which course you get.

Can this be a recurring booking?

Yes — several companies book Local Knowledge for recurring client days and standing team outings.
